I was on Loostuff beach one summer when I was a kid and Watto was there with his family.

I plucked up the courage to ask for a photo which my Dad took of me with him. Me with my hero and our captain. This is back in the day before digital s**t was invented.

My Dad f**ked the film up when taking it out of the camera leaving me devastated.

About Ten years later I was on the train travelling back to Manchester to Uni the day after we'd played Everton at home. Watto had stayed over for an impromptu foo bears with old mates, he was still in his EVerton tracksuit, and sat across the aisle from me.

I told him my story and how upset I'd been, he volunteered to have another photo done but I didn't have a camera with me. And this was in the days before camera phones.

If only smart phone technology had been developed about 15 years earlier than it was that would of been a nice way to round of a lovely story. As it is its a very disappointing anecdote.
