i was with you all the way with the "overused phrases in football" bit when you pointed out that the phrase "unbelievable" was being subjected to rank abuse. good so far? super let's crack on, it's late here.

the confusion started to set in for me when you factored dot cotton and brittany spears into the whole footballing phrase overuse allegory. then, darth vadar and some yeti's rocked up and football kind of took a back seat.

apart from that, spot on.
