Y'know, three or four years back, I think many people at NCFC
Board and fans alike, were actually SCARED of being ruthless: afraid that it'd mean selling our soul, somehow losing what we were all about. But all it meant was finally being professional, and remembering that our job as a football club is, above all, to be as successful as we can damn well be.
We're still a family club. We're still friendly; we're still admired across the land for how we do things. If anything, finally getting ruthless has only AMPLIFIED our previous qualities, and above all, made them relevant. From the joint majority shareholders, to Michael Foulger, to Bowkett and McNally, to the players, and above all, to Paul Lambert, everyone at this club is doing an incredible job now; all because we finally moved with the times, and remembered what we're actually all about.
