Question for Wisdom of the Wrath.... not a pen swallow but

I f**ked down the stairs during the night and have hurt my knee. No pain when leg is straight but have a big problem doing steps/bending it. Should I go to A&E? or the WalkIn Centre, or just leave it to get better?
Not sure what Ive done but I dont want to be wasting peoples time at A&E.
