At least La Haine had beginning, middle and end. For a French film, that's two or three bonuses.

(In fairness, I swerve a lot of it because of the rest of it. I've had a set of Trois Couleurs here for ages, but you know, nyaaaaah. Maybe I'll watch them at xmas, but, y'know, nyeeeur)
