a. do f**k all
b. cap club expenditure on players thereby handing a huge advantage to other leagues in european competitions and make the premier league unattractive to foreign players and reduce the entertainment factor
c. pump billions into it so that each club has unlimited resources which negates 'b' above
d. revert to an amateur league and play the game for the games sake
e. ban football altogether and concentrate on bowls
