Fantastic links further down the board. The speed of OTBC is of real interest. As a young lad in my early teens I do remember when the song speeded up. It happened at the start of a season in the early 70s - 1972 or 73. There was a quite obvious speeding up that caught me out, standing in the corner of the south stand (I hadn't graduated to the barclay just yet). It wasn't an organic speeding up - that gradually got into our culture but a deliberate acceleration. Maybe to make it a bit more trim or modern. It has also has had further acceleration since then. But to the guy that called the present song speed an abonimation - BOLLOCKS. I bellow it loud and clear at the least provocation at any speed - with pride - for ever - it is what we are
