Because we would be mid-season in the PL..........

and probably need a bit of experience from someone who knows the league and can hit the ground running........

Obviously O'Neil would be a great choice but I think he would also be Sunderlands first choice.

I know Mark Hughes has a lot of haterz but he knows the division and has a pretty fine record in the PL.
