Early on I was impressed with how well he and Morison linked up

They both read the game the well and stayed close enough together for Morison's knockdowns and flicks to be effective.

Didn't really kick on though and although he didn't play poorly it was hardly an unarguable case for future inclusion.

Got me thinking that a top quality strike partner for Morison and we could be lethal. The big man would find him every time.
