there's a difference between insulting French and Germans with those terms (Xenophobia not Racism, not acceptable either) and insulting Chinese and Pakistani's with the terms 'chinks' and 'pakis' (race of people so therefore racist) because those 2 terms are associated with aggressive and aggravating behavior or published literature in the past. The term 'pakis' meant all people from South Asia (India...Bangledesh...etc..) and 'chinks' basically anyone from China, SE Asia and even Japan for the really ignorant. Some terms have a history of being offensive and derogatory connotations basically.
