However, for some reason, Walker's reputation seems to deteriorate with time, which is remarkable. The second spell did him no favours; but in 1992 he basically took a poor side (which had lost its best player) added Robins and Megson and nearly won us the league. Truly unbelievable and the last time anything like that will ever happen with any club.
