I once went to a production of a friend, who had been to RADA. It was their first

post RADA performance.

They were the lead in a small production at a small theatre in the round in Borough High Street.

They were awful, just awful. It was as if they'd never trained or acted before.

We were dreading seeing them afterwards. When I was asked "How was I?" I just said "I really enjoyed it."

Luckily my friends aunt was there, a real luvvie type, and she swept over saying "Oh darling you were wonderful" saving me further questions.

Don't go. Make any excuse you can.
