How come Southampton bring through Bale, Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain

and we bring through Daley, Smith and Adeyemi?

Is it purely luck, a better catchment area/more people, or is our youth set up s**t?

And would Lambert give them a go if they were good enough or does he prefer to buy players?
