some nice words from a scouser

I'm sorry but I don't expect us to batter anyone ever.

I expect and DEMAND that we put a performance in and I expect that we do enough to win a game.

We did that. We played very well, dropped off towards the end and Norwich came back.

I have to be honest here - I loved that game yesterday - and I know this will sound a bit wha-hey! But I had tears in my eyes as I walked away from the ground. It was one of those beautiful games that defines our league above others. We did everything we could and this plucky little side came, took the game to us and got a draw that looked an impossibility.

After the game I was talking to a few Norwich fans and they were f**king delighted. I'm giving them a call when we go down to their ground and I'm sure we'll meet up and have a few pints.

Football is f**king great. Alright we didn't win. But what a f**king game!

Winning isn't everything.

Games like yesterday is what makes it great.

I know I probably shouldn't be, but I'm made up for Norwich fans as well - as I said - I spoke to a few after the game and it was like all their Christmases.

All I want to see if progression and we are progressing. Frustrating that some of our fans think we should be f**king Real Madrid RIGHT NOW - but we are getting there. It takes time.
