dealt with lots of crap from Disraeli and won, became leader after he died. Fought Gladstone often, triumphing over him in the 1888 reform act. Also stood up to the French in the fashoda incident preluding the Boer war.

Nepotism to the max - the phrase "bob's your uncle" came from him putting his nephew Balfour into the cabinet I think....plus he enjoyed his food, the fat bastard.
