Well it makes it easy to steal files from work:-)

I use it all the time for sharing visuals with clients, synchronising files between computers, sharing my password database between mac and iPhone.

Not much good if the IT Nazi at work won't let you install it though. He'll probably also be the sort of person that forces everyone to use IE6.
