I think Lambert is a great manager who learns quickly but....
if he doesn't learn quickly here then we are going to be in trouble.
i think he got the starting team/formation wrong at Chelsea (although again to his credit changed it early when Whitbread got injured) and i also think he got it wrong yesterday. We have to be positive and play our best players or we have no chance. We need Wes's creativity in the team and we need to have pace up front. His selection of Surman yesterday was strange given that neither Johnson or Crofts are attacking players and leaving Wes on the bench for a key home game against a relegation rival was a mistake in my view. He also got away with the ridiculously risky decision not to have a sub goal keeper which could have been disastrous.
ILWT though. He has always shown himself to be a quick learner (unlike Worthington) and i have every faith that over the next few games we will see a more settled side with the best players playing.
