wne to the game, just driven passed stokes ground this morning...

and sat in a little chef in uttoxeter right now! Bastard Stoke! Well, actually, NOT bastard stoke, but BASTARD REF and even worse Lino!!!!!

If you're suggesting/hinting at the horse, then I'd agree with you..... I thought the biggest successes yesterday were naughton/bennet combo on the right, very pacy, quick feet, looked excellent..... loved pilkington, spreading the ball well, tierney - had fab game, barnett before the ridiculous red was looking comfortable...... to me, the srugglers were chris martin and grant holt! Both ran their socks off and to me Martin looked less hurried and more composed on the ball. I dont think Holt will get as many decisions this season..... he seemed yesterday to ALWAYS try to look like he's shielding the ball, but look for the push/free kick. I dont doubt his leadership and efoort of getting into the box though, but though MOTD2 summed him up very well - especially that free kick he gave away.......

I see Morison and Jacko coming into it more and more this season..... its clear pace is the way to go!

my post wont be popular I know, all in all I was very pleased we never looked out of our depth and were unlucky not to win it. Apart from sitting deeper and depper into injury time I thouht we matched stoke as well with 10 men as with 11.....

all in all very encouraged!!!!
