My opinion fella
buy an ubuntu linux cd for a quid on ebay, put it in the cd drive, shut down
Start it up with it in, allow linux to install, and chose the full hard drive as the partition (that will wipe everything off and will just have linux on it)
Job done
Or, remove the hdd and kick the s**t out of it
