...we did have a big skinhead following (but, as you know, the vast majority of skinheads weren't racist anyway) and more to do with issues of Bulldog being sold openly outside Stamford Bridge for many years.

There's a great book about Paul Canoville (Chelsea's first black player - User Posted Link (granted, it's written by a friend of mine) that goes some way to explaining how it was back then - the racism in the headline there doesn't just refer to SB.
