Although Upsons wages would be quite high, I would imagine that WOodgate is on a pay as you play deal, so very low risk/expense.

Shame how Woodgates career has been blighted by injuries, hes an immense centre back when fit, I would go as far to say that he would have been first choice for England, ahead of Terry & Ferdinand if he could of stayed fit.

Upson on the other hand is seriously overrated! 1 good game in 5, slow and injury prone. Doesnt ever seem that bothered about playing/winning either
