Football Hotbeds
The North East and North West of England are routinely described as football hotbeds, but you will almost certainly never have heard Norfolk described as such. Yet the city of Norwich ? population just 132,000 ? can boast the 62nd best supported club in Europe. Carrow Road is, on average, filled with 25,386 fans for every home game. As a percentage of the population, that's roughly equivalent to Birmingham City getting 190,000 people at their home games (or at least 95,000, taking into account the presence of Aston Villa). Let's be 'aving you!
