Yep - heard him interviewed about it thuther night on Radio Fours.

They do - the characters in the play go out live on the Ideal Home channel or something like that, selling real stuff to real punters as part of the play. So Vegas and whoever else, have to play a character, but also ad-lib the shopping channel stuff. Bit odd.
