Ward, Whitbread, Barnett and De Laet

Its possible he could go with De Laet with Barnett at CB (speedy CBs) and Johnson at LB.

Theoretically you could say we have some reasonable cover there if we get bad injuries.

The transfer window doesnt close until 4 days after our third PL game.

I would think by the third game he will have a good idea if we have what it takes to compete.

We havnt spent a ton of money so he could splash on a quality CB at the last minute if things are going badly.
