and how old he is. Would avoid banana/sugar cane stuff , esp if doesn't like snakes ;-)
plenty of bar work, etc all the way up the east coast, still - but less available up in FNQ since Cyclone Yasi - if he's fit, being a builder's mate/removal helper works well between the big cities, too
