I guess he was referring to you saying (re Worthy):

"Whilst he's our manager I will be supporting him. Becoming hostile towards him will not help our cause...."

And as you say you didn't support Hamilton, he'd probably ask why Worthy deserves your support for as long as he's the manager, but Hamilton didn't?

Just guessing though.
