football punditry on bbc, sky and itv football is f**king awful and adds precious little to the enjoyment or, more importantly enhancement of peoples understanding of the game. it's more about ex players egos and skewed opinions then anything else.

commentary is not far behind. i'd love a mute option on the telly that just allowed crowd noise. the s**t (obscure facts) that the commentators come up with in a bid to impress viewers is... nails down the blackboard.
