I've always thought the basic premise should be: things should only be in the Lympics if winning the Lympics is the ultimate prize in that sport.

So athletics, gymnastics, rowing, track cycling, all that sort of stuff - in.

But tennis, football, and all other sports where there are bigger prizes elsewhere - out.

Devalues the games when an Olympic gold medal isn't the best thing you can achieve in the sport.
