Queen's Park Rangers v Norwich City (26th August 1967)

26th August 1967: Following promotion from the 3rd Division and their success in the League Cup, Queen's Park Rangers were one of the favourites to go straight up to the elite league in 1968. Even despite the loss of star player Rodney Marsh, out with a broken ankle, they had started the campaign well with three points from two away games. So on a blistering hot second Saturday of the league season, and Loftus Road so close to BBC Television Centre, 'Match of the Day' cameras came to see whether QPR could overcome last terms Cup specialists Norwich City.
