oh, not sure really

in fact not sure at all. which is a rubbish way of saying i don't know. so, i don't know is the answer to your question then. which isn't really an answer, more a statement of fact.

actually i think i might take a break until the season starts again. sort out the shed. and stuff. might even make a start on repainting the decking. the preparation is the key of course, as with most diy projects. planning is of paramount importance and i shall devise a careful plan. with contingencies should events/situations change inexorably.

the basics remain a constant though; first, jet wash it off thoroughly and allow to dry. sand down the existing paint to provide a "key" for the new paint and remove any loose splinters etc. treat with a mould & mildew inhibitor. allow to dry (check weather forecast). apply primer. alow to dry. light sanding. apply paint. allow to dry. light sanding. apply final coat of paint. allow to dry. replace furniture.

should take a couple of days or so.

i will then make a start on the trees.
