He's Feeling The Heat Now...

Unquestionably. He knows that a great number of the fans are on his back, hence his "I don't care what the fans think!" quote. If a player pisses him off, he drops or ignores him, if he has a fit of pique with the fans, he seems to act in spite just to show us who is boss, regardless of the implications of his decision.

Maybe the board won't sack him (and if they haven't got the balls to do so, or, gave him such a massive contract, they can't afford to do so, then shame on them) then they need to start putting a bit of weight on him-he can't go saying "I don't care what the board think"!

As for the "look at what he's done for us" loyalists, I see your point-but how long do we let him live on past glories? He hasn't "done anything" for us since May 2004 now, and counting-because he sure as hell didn't do anything for us in the Premiership and all of those whgo say we hadn't a chance in there anyway ought to look and see where Wigan are this evening.
