My opinion on the Chris Goreham interview -
My opinion on the Chris Goreham interview, for what it?s worth.
Firstly well done to Chris for having the balls to start questioning Worthington on the team and tactics. Chris sounded very nervous and made a couple of schoolboy errors, which really cost him the chance to stick the knife in.
1/ You need to stand up to a bully. NW seemed as nice as my aunty when asked easy questions, as soon as Chris asked something that NW did not like he was in his face. He needed a comeback from the inevitable aggression from NW. Be prepared and anticipate what is going to be said.
2/ He should have pounced on the ?I don?t care what the fans think?. A golden opportunity missed there to really put him on the spot.
If that had been one of the players asking about selection & tactics, ressie football and some boot cleaning with the YTS boys would have been on the horizon. I can?t see anyone from the PinkUn asking these sort of questions, so who is there left to make life a little more uncortable for NW? The nationals seem to ignore us, so it?s left to the local radio to ask.
My prediction for Monday. The PinkUn and the Official Site to go into 1200 rpm spin overdrive saying he did not mean it or was misquoted. Bollox.. I heard it and it sounded like he meant it to me.
