Away ticket help

bit of ticket help required. have debated getting an away season ticket but i think i'll realistically only get to around 10 away games. I would obviously want to go to some of bigger games, Man United, Liverpool etc... I have 10 away stubs. My question is (apologies if a silly one) once you have sent your 10 tickets in for a ballot, do you get them sent back to you? Or would i have to pick very carefully one game to use the stubs for? Thanks in advance.
