that reads to me like it is Waghorn relaying what Worthy has told him - because, after all, Worthy is one of the few people on the planet that sees the only answer to any midfield problem as being "Gary Holt". Truth is there were other options: Graham Stuart. Eddy could have been brought back in & Helveg slotted into midfield. Charlie I think could have been tried - you can't tell me that his competitiveness wouldn't have been very handy on Sunday. Even Jim Brennan. The problem with all this is that Eddy, Charlie and Brennan are all out of favour with Worthy, and once that happens you might as well not exist.
