The other six all previously played in League One. Reading are the only team in the top six who came down from the Prem prior to this stint in the Championship.
Does it signify anything? Perhaps that being in the Prem is hardly the 'cure all' for time ever after and boucing back is very difficult.
Ipswich, Middlesbrough, Watford, Hull, Portsmouth, Burnley, Coventry, Derby, Palace, Sheff Utd... all probably thought they were 'made for life'.
