Shouldnt we cheer on all english clubs for our own benefit?

Im not sure how it works currently but dont countries get allocated European places based on past successes?
Isnt the reason the PL has so many slots because of past performance.

Down the line if more European spots are up for grabs then obviously if we were to get promoted and finish in the top ten then obviously it would be nice to return to Europe again.

Isnt it truely amazing how the top PL clubs treat competitions like the Europa League and FA Cup as distractions where they can field their fringe players.
