Yes it's possible to go on a barnstorming run... eg the one that got us into the playoffs 01/02 where we won 5 and drew 2 of the last 7.
However, it's much harder for sides to make seismic shifts in form and league standings once you get under ten games to play. I have no statistics or scientific research to back up my theory, however logic in my world tells me that, and besides it was the point usa canary was trying to make further vvvvvvv there too.
