About 78% of matches have been won by the team batting first since 2000
You do the math (poi).
Firstly, it's supposed to be difficult to see the ball under the lights and also, the pitch gets a bit of mositure in it in the afternoon/ evening. Leads to all sorts of seam movement.
But, they changed the strip not so long ago and this was supposed to stop the moisture.
But, at that ground, you win the toss and bat. Strauss would have been crucifed had he bowled, purely because of the win rato for the team batting first.
