It was a memorable one, but the gates weren't that high.

Enjoyable=yes. However, I think that season is becoming one that is ever more impressive in retrospect. We had previously finished 4th and 5th/6th in the top division, and there was, ultimately, some disappointment that we didn't win the Prem that season, including amongst the players.

As football has changed and become much more of a game for the big boys and the have's, rather than the small fry and the have-not's, and, alligning that with what happened over a few seasons not so long ago, ending with relegation to L1, then where we are now is probably a better time, as a fan, than it was then. I do believe it is a lot, lot more appreciated now as well.
