Thoughts on yesterday, Wes and the penalty
I was reminded of a recent interview where Wes said when he had a penalty he just waited for the goalie to move and then slotted it the other way "they always move" he said.
Looking from directly behind he seemed to run up, hesitate, and then fluff it. It was as if he was waiting for the goalie to move and when he didn't he had no plan b.
As for Preston - a team that was time wasting from the 10th minute and who set out to kick and elbow at every opportunity, where given the perfect referee in the spineless, hopeless t**t we had yesterday.
