...we haven't replaced him in the England side yet (Glenn Johnson isn't even half the player Neville was); nor, I suspect, have Man Utd.

Neville's run and cross for our first goal vs Scotland in Euro 96 was brilliant and the attacking move & assist which ignited that campaign for England.

Good player. Note that its only now that people are beginning to realise that Phil isn't so bad either. Should certainly be in England squads as experienced and very versatile.
