Yea, that's a good shout. There's also....

a smaller spring time beer festival (can't recall the name right now!?) on the same site. I think there's 3 tents instead of 8 or 9. It doesn't draw nearly as many visitors but if you're going with friends it's still a blast. To be honest, any time in Munich with the beer halls is awesome.
