i don't agree with the leniency he showed in the WC final either

but i've no doubt that he wasn't allowed to handle that game as he normally would - io don't think any referee would be allowed to handle that game as they normally would

Blatter and his FIFa cronies no doubt would have made it clear they didn't want any sending offs etc to 'ruin' a game - as it was i think it would only have made it better - but you know the sort of s**t the media (and plenty of managers) come out with
