Maybe both Lambert and the Chief exec need to wonder about exactly what kind of person they are both dealing with. One is prepared to use the approach of a club to strengthen his own position and the other waits for a gun to be put to his head before giving his manager the working conditions he wants.

Either way, i don't think it will be a long lasting relationship, so enjoy it while it lasts.

It must also make you so proud to have a key member of your club's staff being so disrespectful to a fellow member of the football league, basically getting involved in a pi**ing contest, when we all now know which club has the bigger dick.
