Some thoughts on Sams sacking...........

It does look pretty shocking given their position and their lack of resources.
Sam does what Sam does.
Makes teams tight at the back, Physical and very hard to beat.
Its the only way to compete against superior skill of the better teams.

On the positive side if they have big money to spend and they didnt fancy him, now would be an ideal time to bring in a new man.
Probably the mistake we made was firing Roeder either to early or too late
Firing Mid Jan is the worst time as it doesnt give a new manager long to work in the window.

I could see West Ham making a run for Sam, would seem like the perfect candidate to shake things up.
Grant just seems too nice and accepting of defeat.

I think Hughton will go to Shef Utd, that seems like the perfect match.

I have no idea who Blackburn will go for?

Martin O'Neil? but only if they have a bucket load of cash
