In some ways yes, AShley hs clearly demosntrated his idiocy more than once. Those in the
game know this.
If Ashley fires him early, or gets overly involved to the point Lambert fails/walks, its unlikely to damage his reputation as other chairman know the situation.
Also, Ashley wants out, so he won't always be there.
Mind you taht creates the situations of not being the new owners 'man'.
