guess the best counter might be that if we really wanted FIFA to clean up its act, best way might be for us to host the WC. And while doing so, put a bit of pressure on them.

I would imagine, for example, that a WC hosted in Russia will probably give them quite a few opportunities to fill their pockets further.

But anyway, we're not going to win it, so this is all pretty academic.
