i think malky wanted first team football
and worthy said he wasn't guaranteed it. but the writing was on the wall on the pre-season tour when malky didn't get a look in and it was flem/charlton - incidentally, wqhich has still been our best back two all season, including flem/shacks.
charlton extra PREMIERSHIP experience in those last three away games, where we conceded 13 GOALS, could have been invaluable.
but he was obviously in worthy's bad books for some unknown reason.
people don't have to agree with me, but i think worthy's a cock. always have, always will. i acknowledge the good things he's done, but don't like the bloke.
