e. i'd imagine the best way to do it would be to actually stand in the back of a toyota hilux pick up with a chainsaw and go at a girrafe at between 45 and 50 mph and lop its head off about 2 feet down the neck and then have a complicated system of calibrated bedsheets suspended from hot air balloons to measure the height of the resulting blood spurtage. and of course the remaining mcwhirter from the guinness book of records.
