True Health and Safety Gone Mad story. Bloke at work, his brother went to B+Q today

to buy some wood.
He needed less than the sheet they had so asked if they could cut if down for him using their lovely, purpose made, equipment.

"No Sir, we can't for health and safety reasons we can only cut plywood.
What we advise our clients to do if the piece is too big to fit in their cars is to buy a saw from us, then cut it down themselves in the car park".

He did just this, but due to the lack of appropriate wood cutting facilities in the car park, ended up slicing a chunk off thumb off (i've seen the foto's).
That last bit is a little Darwinian I have to say.

B+Q only allowed to cut down plywood though???
